Required ingredients:

  • Witch hazel
  • 2 Cotton pads.

Preparation:

Soak cotton pads in witch hazel and wrink out the excess and place it over your eyes and remove it after 5 minutes. Repeat this process daily for good results.

Some of the uses with witch hazel:

Recipe: 1 (witch hazel with egg white)

Egg white contains proteins which promote the production of collagen, which keeps skin firm and supple.

Required ingredients:

  • 2 eggs white yolks.
  • Required amount of witch hazel.

Preparation:

Crack 2 eggs and separate the yolk from white and whip the egg whites and stir in few drops of witch hazel. Dip the cotton balls in the mixture and apply it under the eyes. Rinse it with water and pat dry.

Recipe: 2 (Witch hazel with green tea)

Green tea contains antioxidant that protects the skin from damaging toxins.

Required ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of green tea
  • 2 tablespoons of witch hazel

Preparation:

Mix equal parts of green tea and witch hazel together. Soak a cotton ball in the mixture for few minutes. Apply and massage it around your eyes and leave it overnight.

#10 Geranium Oil

Geranium oil is anti-inflammatory and promotes cell regeneration and improves blood circulation.

Required ingredients:

  • Few drops of geranium oil
  • ½ tablespoon of aloe vera gel

Preparation:

Mix the two ingredients and gently apply this under your eyes. Wash it when you wake up in the morning with cool water.

#11 Fennel Essential Oil

Fennel essential oil has the ability to prevent and smoothing of wrinkles of mature skin.

Required ingredients:

  • Few Fennel essential oil
  • ½ tablespoon of witch hazel

Preparation:

Mix few drops of fennel essential oil with witch hazel and gently apply this under your eyes and leave it overnight. Repeat this process for 15 days.

Tips for Using Essential Oils

  • Please be careful while applying essential oil, don’t let it enter in your eyes because it can burn like hell.
  • Don’t use undiluted oil for your skin make sure that you have mixed it with the other carrier oil first in the ratio of 2 drops of essential oil for 1 tablespoon of carrier oil.
  • Always use ring finger to apply essential oils around your eyes.
  • If you experience any sort of irritation or loss of vision, immediately consult your physician.
