1. Apricot Face Scrub
Dead cells, impurities and pollutants accumulated over your skin must be wiped. Blend fresh apricots by taking away its seeds. Add some almond powder or oatmeal to this puree and apply it over prewashed face.
Massage it over the face, neck and on different parts of the body. Leave it for 15-20 minutes and then splash water on it. Alternatively, you can use brown sugar, honey or apricot kernel powder (apricot seeds).
2. Apricot and Olive Oil for Dry Skin
Though apricot itself packed with moisturizing agents, you can optionally add olive oil if you’ve itchy dry skin. Take 3-4 fresh apricots and wash them. After removing seeds, blend it into puree. Now add required amount of olive oil to apricot puree and mix it thoroughly.
Wash your face and pat dry initially before applying this mask. Topically apply the face mask all over the face evenly and rinse it off after 15-20 minutes.
3. Apricot and Lemon for Oily Skin
In the same way like mentioned above, remove seeds and make apricot puree. Add 1/2 tbsp of lemon juice to the puree and mix well. Lemon exhibits bleaching property, which helps to lighten dark spots and acne scars. But, citric acid in lemon can remove natural oils surrounding your skin. So, experts recommend limiting the use of lemon, or applying natural moisturizer right after treating with lemon juice.
Other Apricot face mask recipes include oatmeal and yogurt. Mix 1 tbsp of oatmeal and 2 tbsp yogurt with apricot puree. Wash your face and then rinse it off after 15-20 minutes.
